Each impressionist photograph begins with an original film or digital image. Both artistic (paint, pen, pastel, charcoal) and photographic digital techniques (such as dodging, burning, the use of various filters and brushes, color replacement or enrichment) enhance the original in a way that expresses a personal interpretation of the subject. This process requires hundreds of meticulous steps.
Editions are limited to a maximum of 125 signed prints—many of which have slight variations as the impressionist image evolves. They are printed in small quantities on acid free cotton rag paper with archival inks and, like any fine art print or water color, will last for many years. All prints feature a deep cut gallery mat in off white in preparation for framing.
We are pleased to be able to offer two sizes of each image: 8″ x 10″ which mats to 14″ x 18″ and 11″ x 14″ which mats to finished size of 16″ x 20″.
